Apply for a Fellowship
The Huntington Research Division administers one of the largest and most prestigious fellowship programs for the support of scholarship in the humanities in the United States. Every year approximately 200 fellowships are awarded to scholars from all over the world to conduct advanced humanities research using The Huntington’s collections.
The Research Department will begin accepting Fellowship Applications for the 23-24 fellowship year for Long-Term Fellowships, Short-Term Fellowships, and Travel Grants/Exchange Fellowships on August 31, 2022 until 11:59 PM PST on November 15, 2022.

How to submit your fellowship application:
1. Create an account by entering a username and password.
2. Complete the online application following the Application Guidelines and uploading all required materials by the deadline 11:59 PM PST on Nov. 15, 2022.
Please note: If you are using an academic email address and are not receiving emails from the Survey Monkey Apply system, please contact your University Information Technology administrator. In most cases, these differences arise from the firewalls erected by IT administrators.
